After a failed first semester in college, I joined the USAF. I spent 10 years in the military as a Radar Technician. I learned about life and how to be successful in my studies. I completed my AAS through my military training and then fell in love with higher education. I completed my BS in Electronic Engineering and a Master's degree in Business Administration and Technology Management. My goal is to educate others so that they do not have to experience unnecessary failure as they pursue their educational process.
I failed at my first attempt at college because I did not understand the entrance testing, did not know what I wanted to do for a major and was flat out not ready for college. I see these same characteristics in many students that I visit with every day. In the present day, we also have to add on the stress of funding the education. I want to help students and parents avoid the stress and mystery that accompanies their college readiness. My background as an Engineer is integrated into our college consulting business and services. Over the past 10+ years, I assisted over 3500 families through all steps of the college process.
